Rated 3 out of 5 by from problem with 21" first off i think the bulk of this machine is great but i gave it some not good marks to try and get attention for a design problem. i have had this mower for 2 years and now cannot get the front deck height to stay fixed without dropping down. the problem is the plastic holding the wheel shaft has flexed and will not allow the adjustment detent to sit in the oblong holes at the correct angle. There is not an easy fix for the average person. is there a recall on this ? i don't want to spend money on another and have it fail in whatever time frame it will last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mowing made easy! After years of mowing with our old, hard starting, cantankerous machine, we recently purchased this Troy-Bilt TB120 Mower. It was shipped to us with simple assembly instructions and oil to fill the crankcase. With oil and gasoline added and the grass catcher attached, it started on the second pull. This new machine is easy to maneuver with its large rear wheels and has our yard looking like the fringe of a golf course green. Mowing is no longer a chore. Note: since I have newly purchased this mower, I cannot rate it on durability. However it appears to be very well made and I expect it will last a very long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good so far So far so good with heavy use in grass, leaves, and pine straw mowing/chopping. Bagger doesn't fill but about half way before emptying is necessary, but most of my cutting is done with the mulching setting. It does well with that, even in thick areas if I slow down. Air filter cover is prone to come off. Cuts well. Runs well. Easy to start. Haven't had it long enough to comment on durability yet, but it has handled what I've put it through so far very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new TB120 Mower After having the TB120 Mower for two months, I am amazed and happy on how light and easy it works in my yard. Putting it together took only 15 minutes, easy to put together, pulled for the first time and off we ran.It cuts better than my old Toro, Bag works well to collect the grass, pushing is light and easy. I always spray Teflon and clean the mower after every use. The engine has good power and wheel adjustments are easy to change. Well done Troy-Bilt, your mower is better than my old Toro.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TB120 Pro: 1. Out of the box one pull start, Hot start two pulls, Impressive. 2. Nice mulch or side discharge Cut, Haven't tried bag yet. Con: 1. You better have plenty of muscle to move this beast over slightly rough ground or up an incline. 2. Are you kidding me. In order to change the oil you dump it on top the mower deck ? No under deck drain plug is S T U P I D. Would have been a deal breaker for me had I known.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome mower I've only had this mower for a little while. I purchased the Troy bilt because I already own a Troy bilt rider and its lasted for 17 years and is still going strong!! The walk behind required very little assembly to get mowing and started on the first pull and has every time since!!! I would definitely recommend this mower to anyone wanting to buy a walk behind who wants to get great quality for their money!!!
