Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and Easy Start This mower was lighter than my previous one. That could be due to the plastic front end compared to my previous mower which was all metal. Only time will tell how well the plastic holds up. However, it does make the mower more maneuverable and very easy to turn and rotate. The engine starts very easy in 1 or 2 pulls with the no-prime system. Sometimes I barely pull the cord and I'm surprised that it starts. It also seems to be just a bit quieter than my previous 18 year old mower. I only use this as a mulcher and it does a fine job. There are no piles of grass built up anywhere and the lawn looks finished when I complete the mowing. I have also had to transport the assembled mower to a second location. It is pretty straight forward for collapsing the handles and fit inside my car trunk easily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Is there an engine speed/rpm throttle adjustment? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mower (new) at my local home improvement center in Sept-2019. It's a solid, well built unit. However I would like to know if there is a mechanical adjustment for the throttle speed? I seems to run at an excessive, high speed rpm. I would like to reduce the rpm by at least 200-300 (rpm) The provided documentation does not show any throttle adjustment procedures. It appears the 'governor' ( engine running speed) is factory set. Can you provide any information regarding this inquiry? Thank you V.Fowler

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fires up every time [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when we first moved in a couple years ago. I read the owner’s manual. If you use premium fuel, turn the fuel cutoff then run the mower out of gas, it will not develop gum in the carburetor. I also use StaBil additive for extra measure. Sharpen/ change the blade regularly/yearly and the air filter and you will not have any problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only brand I will buy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a small independent contractor who has a lawn business with 24 customers. I mow more lawns in a month than a personal owner would mow in a full summer season. Over the course of the last 6 years I have only owned 2 Troy built mowers. I know I can always count on my Troy Built to start on the first or second pull of the rope and that even on days when i mow 4 or 5 lawns in the day that the mower will get the job done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect mower [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s just the right size for a small yard that I mow for someone. It’s the first bagger that I’ve owned, I love that part. The Honda engine is the best part. The Honda engine along with the Troybilt name, the decision was easy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still starts with one pull almost every time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have probably had this mower for 10+ years. It still performs just as well as it did new. Has had only routine maintenance and parts such as new blades, air and oil filters. Still starts and runs like it did new. Gives a very good looking cut. I like that I can bag or discharge with only one adjustment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mower [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Troybilt push mower, the first one over twenty years old and still running well. Just wanted a new one and to be able to sell the old one rather than trashing it. Love the Honda engine on the new one, the safety features, the first pull starting, and the easy height adjustment. Glad I chose Troybilt again, along with my 30+ year old Horse tiller and highly recommend Troybilt products!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great and is reliable! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 5 years, works every time, starts easily (a real plus for us) and all that's been needed is blade sharpening and oil changes.
